WAVE STARTS and GUN TIME/CHIP TIME

Due to size of entrants we will be looking at using 2-3 wave starts for the Half Marathon to ease congestion at the start. This will be self managed and was ask Faster runners to go in the earlier waves and slower runners /walkers will be asked to go in the later waves. We will confirm closer to the event if this will be required for the 10km and 5km.

Your personal timing chip which will be located on the back of your Race Bib will be activated once you cross the start line, and your finishing time will be recorded as you cross the finish line. So there is no need to rush to get started as your overall time excludes how long it takes you to cross the start line after the gun goes.
